Buckethead (nascido nos EUA, em 1969, cujo o nome verdadeiro é Brian Carroll) é um guitarrista e compositor americano. Usando como marcas registradas pessoais máscara plástica branca e um balde daKFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken) na cabeça (daí o nome artístico), Buckethead criou um personagem misterioso. Ele é um compositor prolífico, lançou 36 álbuns solo e trabalhou em mais 50. As bandas mais conhecidas das quais ele trabalhou são Praxis, Colonel Claypool's Bucket of Bernie Brains e Guns N'Roses. Suas músicas abrangem diversos estilos musicais incluindo Thrash Metal, Funk,Eletrônica, Jazz e Música experimental.
Embora possa tocar vários instrumentos (toca baixo, banjo, violino epiano), Buckethead é melhor conhecido por tocar guitarra, caracterizado por tocar diversos estilos de forma exímia. Guitar One o apontou como o 8º lugar da lista dos "10 maiores Shredders de todos os tempos".
